California's high unemployment rate contributes to the stagnation of the housing market and reduces revenue collected by local governments, prompting more cuts to the local services that people depend on.
I continue to support legislative actions and host events in my district to create jobs. It must be our top priority.
Read MoreSince my election to the Assembly in 2008, I have traveled all across the 15th district; from Walnut Creek to Livermore, from Oakley and Brentwood to Elk Grove and Galt, meeting with parents, educators, administrators and students to hear their stories about the impacts of recent education cuts. Read MoreI cannot thank you enough for all of the support and time you gave to my re-election campaign over these past several months. It was a long fight, but in the end your hard work and determination paid off with a wonderful victory last night.
It is an honor to be representing you in Sacramento for a second term. I will continue my work to restore education funding, create jobs and make meaningful changes to our budget process. Thank you again for this opportunity and I look forward to working with you.
Sincerely,

State Assembly District 15: Alamo incumbent is clearly the choice for voters over Republican Abram Wilson
