Danville, CA – Assembly candidate Joan Buchanan today announced that she has received the endorsements of Walnut Creek Mayor Gwen Regalia, Pleasanton Mayor Jennifer Hosterman, Galt Mayor Andrew Meredith, and Elk Grove Mayor Gary Davis.

“Year after year, the Legislature grapples with California’s budget problems. Joan Buchanan is a practical problem solver who understands the role cities play in economic development,” said Gary Davis, Mayor of Elk Grove. “She knows we must work together to develop real solutions to for a more prosperous California.”

Danville, CA – Assembly candidate Joan Buchanan today announced that she has received the endorsements of the California Small Business Association, the San Ramon Chamber of Commerce, and the Central Labor councils in each of the four counties within the 15th Assembly District – Alameda, Contra Costa, Sacramento, and San Joaquin.

“Joan Buchanan’s private sector and community experience is a winning combination,” said Betty Jo Toccoli, President of the California Small Business Association.  “During these hard budget times, we need Joan’s financial expertise and budget savvy.”

“It says something about our campaign to have endorsements from business and labor,” said Buchanan.  “Too often there is an ‘us versus them’ mentality.  Here, we are focused on how to get the job done for the good of the community.”

San Ramon, CA – Assembly candidate Joan Buchanan today announced that she has received the endorsement of the California Professional Firefighters.  The endorsement comes with less than two months left until Primary Election Day, June 3rd.

“Joan Buchanan understands the importance of keeping our communities safe,” said Lou Paulson, President of the California Professional Firefighters.  “She’ll be an excellent representative in Sacramento.”

Danville, CA – Assembly candidate Joan Buchanan today announced that she has received the sole endorsement of the California Democratic Party.  The unanimous vote was taken Sunday at the State convention in San Jose.

“I am proud to have the endorsement of the Democratic Party and proud to share the Democratic values of personal responsibility, fairness, and opportunity.  I look forward to working for better schools, an improved health care system, and the protection of our natural resources,” said Buchanan.
